The EUSR Safe Control of Operations (SCO) Gas scheme is the essential, knowledge-based requirement for all individuals involved in controlling, managing, and supervising operational work on the UK gas distribution networks.
Designed around the requirements of the industry standard IGEM/GL/6 Edition 3, this training provides the framework and perimetry procedures necessary to maintain system safety, ensure compliance, and protect personnel and assets across Routine and Non-Routine Operations.
Who Should Attend?
This training is mandatory for all gas industry personnel involved in planning, authorising, or carrying out safety-critical procedures on the gas network. This includes, but is not limited to, those who are or will become:
- Competent Persons (CP)
- Authorising Engineers (AE)
- Supervisors and Managers responsible for controlling gas network operations.
